FEDAMORE NEWS
THE deadline for this year’s magazine is Friday, October 31. The committee urgently require articles, club reports, photographs, old and new, weddings, graduations, under five baby pictures. Material can be left in the Sacristy, the Post Office or given to any committee member. Please include a contact name and number with your article and especially with photographs. You can if you wish, email material including pictures to Noreen at davisprinters.ie.
CARNANES NS
Welcome to our new junior infants Nathan Myles Keogh, Jack Aherne, Ciara O’Brien, Tomás Hartigan, Arthur O’Donnell, Robbie Haigney and Pauline Mokharava.
Welcome also to Ms Maura Bradley who joins the staff as learning support teacher and Ms. Sarah Daly, our new S.N.A. Best wishes to Mrs Una Dalton in her new role as Principal in Fedamore NS.
YOUTH CLUB
Registration will take place on Friday, October 3 at 8pm. Existing members have first preference, only under 16’s can apply and group size is limited. Registration for a new Midi club will also take place for children under 12’s. A parent, or guardian must accompany children on registration night.
AGM will take place at 8.30pm following registration fee of €10 per family each club to cover cost of Insurance.
FEDAMORE NS
Well done to the boys and girls in fourth, fifth and sixth classes who played in their first Cumann na mBunscol football match against Cloverfield. The team was Michael Jordan, Jessica Morrissey, Alan Leonard, Thomas Roche, John Creehan, Emily O’Grady and Sarah Carmody. Thanks to all the families (including grandparents) who came to support the team and a special thanks to Carol and Niall. Onwards and upwards lads and lassies.
TABLE QUIZ
Fedamore Community Council table quiz in Doran’s Bar on Saturday, October 11 at 9.30pm. Your support is greatly appreciated.

GOLF OUTING
Castle Rovers held their inaugural Golf Classic at Rathbane on Saturday last. We are grateful to Rathbane Golf Club, Ballysheedy Steak House for providing a lovely meal and the Ranch Bar for hosting the prize giving ceremony. First prize sponsored by the Ranch bar went to John Malone, Joe burke and Pat Fogarty. Second prize: Sponsor Stephen McNamara, went to Ronan O’Mahony, Kieran Moloney and Stephen Moloney. Third prize “The Dream Team”, Sean McMahon, Damien Malone and Kevin Hayes, sponsored by Rathbane. Thanks to our generous sponsors and we hope to stage a similar event next year.
SOCCER
Castle travelled to Athlacca on Sunday last to take on Trinity Rangers, but unfortunately, the referee failed to turn up. In division Two A Castle are joint third with nine points, two points behind leaders Hospital.
POKER CLASSIC
Fedamore and District Gun club Poker Classic on Friday October 10, at 8pm in The Ranch Bar. Cash prizes and raffle on the night Tickets €20, obtained from any club member or on the night.
