The guest for the night was Chris O’Neill who showed us how to make and preserve ‘chutney’s and pickles. He wasn’t just a chef; he was also a great entertainer. We had a great laugh and relaxation. It was enjoyed by all who attended, tasted and enjoyed his cooking.
Ruth O’Doherty came to collect the shoe boxes and to her amazement, we had 144 boxes and I know there is more to come.
So here I would like to thank all those kind people who handed in boxes. It was very much appreciated. It was decided to have a cookery demonstration on Wednesday, December 3 given by Robert Curtis.
