Haemochromatosis Support
The Mid West Support group are holding a meeting in the Community Rooms next to Raheen Church on Thursday, 11th Dec at 8pm. All are welcome to attend especially any patients diagnosed recently. Contact Denise McAuliffee for further information on denisemcauliffe@ireland.com

Community Education Funding
Co. Limerick V.E.C. is currently inviting applications from Community Groups who are seeking Community Education Funding. This funding provides tutors for groups in subjects like Computers, Arts and Crafts and Personal Development. For a list of courses and application form please contact Regina Duane 086 8337815 Closing date for receipt of applications Friday 19th December @ 12pm.

Choir Service
Tuesday Dec 16th. The Augustinian Church O’ Connell Street Limerick at 8.00 - 9.00.p.m. A Carol Service presented by the Combined Choirs of Mary Immaculate College Choral Society and Stranmillis University College Belfast. All are welcome. Please be seated by 7.45m.

Trocaire is once again running its Christmas gifts appeal,Global Gift
Kimpheuk Tahn, has been looking after her two grandchildren for ten years, since her own daughter contracted HIV and died. Kimpheuk has struggled to feed her grandsons but with support from Trocaire Kimpheuk is now able to cope and is sending her boys to school. “I worry about my boys but now I make sure they go to school and get an education so they can look after themselves in the future.”

Light Up A Memory – Milford Care Centre
Remember your loved ones this Christmas by sponsoring a light on the Light Up A Memory Tree at Milford Hospice. We warmly invite you to our annual tree lighting ceremony which takes place on Sunday 21 Dec at 6pm. A special carol service will take place prior to illumination of the tree followed by refreshments. Lights can be sponsored on the day or by calling 061 485858 Mon to Fr 9am to 5pm. For each light sponsored (€5) you will receive a beautiful card which can be dedicated to someone special or as a Christmas Gift. Funds raised will go towards patient comfort and care services at the Milford Care Centre.
