Fedamore Thursday 8th January 2009

CHURCH NEWS
DURING the Christmas Fedamore Church was filled to capacity for all Masses.

LOTTO
Castle Rovers weekly lotto draw was held in the Ranch Bar, no outright winner. Three numbers, Mary Gleeson, Fedamore, Spencer Hartigan c/o Ranch, Eddie Power, Arywee, each received €50.

SOCCER
Castle played their usual St. Stephen’s Day match, this year current players v former players. Usual celebrations in the Ranch afterwards. A special thank you to all those who supported Castle’s Christmas draw, those who bought tickets and those who sponsored prizes and are always so generous.

FEDAMORE MAGAZINE

It went on sale Christmas week. Sales are brilliant. Still some copies available at €10 from the local outlets.

SYMPATHY
The death took place of Mrs. Theresa Purcell, Ballinagarde, Ballyneety formerly of Granagh/Ballingarry. Remains were removed from Cross’s Funeral Home, Ballyneety to Ballybricken Church. Burial took place in Inch St. Laurence Cemetery. Sympathy was extended to her husband Philip, sons, daughters, relatives and many friends. She will be sadly missed by all.

CONGRATULATIONS
We would like to congratulate Richard Crehan, Skule, Fedamore on his selection by Fianna Fail headquarters to run as a candidate in next June’s local elections in the Adare area and wish him our full support and every success.
